Licensed to Bench Race?

I've been thinking about going for my "Bench Racers" permit .
Do I need a sponsor?
How long does it usually take to go from a permit to a real BR license?
I have been learning by countless hours of lurking. It's been educational and I do study the true classics, you know... Tom Brown and Kim Hansen.
I've learned plenty but have a ways to go.
So who do you think would make a good mentor and why?

I just saw Hanson/Eazykiller 9.1 translator on Ebay that would do 100MPH!!!

Might be a great idea to purchase the all new Hanson/Eazykiller 9.1 translator. the translator's are 4-6 weeks out at this time. just a heads up. dont bother trying to figure it out on your own!

Just a thought...it's covered in your BR tech manual under "protocol". Might want to look it up...you're obviously not ready for your final.

Yes, definitely, but one you might want to:
1,- Keep to yourself.
2.- Seek treatment for.
