I'd like to say thanks to Neil at SDPM for all the help. It's amazing all the crap that can go wrong with your boat when it sits for 3 years under cover outside. I'm glad the garage is built. Hope to make labor day (wow).
Anyway, the boat is getting closer here are a few pictures of it. Not as cool as some, but it will have to do I don't think it looks to bad for a 20 year old boat.
So here is the "story" on the boat:
The engine is a 514" Ford Racing short block that I got from some guy at racingjuck.com and the heads are a set of old A-460 Motorsport heads from Ebay I was told that they have a 3 angle valve job and the pump came from Ebay ,I mean craigslist, also I got a good deal on it. I think the guy told me it was blue printed and it is a a/b cut alum. impeller. Lastly, the guy that put the engine together for me told me he set it up with 9.75:1 comp. with a 3/4 race cam.I hope to turn the engine to about 5,500 or so"
That's the "story" and I'm sticking to it. "Sleeper CP"

Once again I want to thank Neil for staying late and helping me get this 85 mph boat back on the water.

You mean to tell me that you have never heard of a 3/4 RACE cam? Have you heard of a "full roller motor"? Have you ever heard of a "full race cam"? Well a 3/4 race cam is close to that but just a little less than a full race and a little more than just a race cam!

I'm still new at this posting crap. These didn't work the first time.
Here is a better picture of that 514" ebay create motor.

Sorry people, but Jon sometimes drinks a little too much before posting and tends to exaggerate a little. Please excuse him!

I have built many roller motors. The term alway's struck me funny because I lived in the world where specs explained the cam. CP Sleeper has a VERY nice deal and I'm a ford lover from way back. And don't want to kick-up any waves here.

Any time Jon. I thought you were shooting for 80 and now it's 85! That's just like you, always pushing the envelope! I sure hope you reach your goal. Neil
