That's one of those old 2 holer's, ran one of those on my canoe back in the day. You don't see jack plates like that anymore..

Tell me about it. I'm swapping my V8's to Merc CLE's because I can't get the OMC gearcases to live. Guess they don't like surfacing Bravo 1's at 75+mph.
What are they doing? Carriers coming loose? Have you tried pinning them?
