My family also had a '87 Carrera Elite. The are a great boat and run awesome with a jet. Back in '87 they were being laid up by Carrera. I know that ours had 4 full stringers. If weight serves correctly, it weighed somewhere in the neighborhood of 3k lbs.

Didn't go to Deer creek, the water was way low. Still need to bolt in the seats, and do a little pm on the trailer, other than that good to go.
Havin a blast. Had it on the water every day.
