If I remember the drive line that is in the boat takes a 1350, I only have 1310s.

P.S. flywheel or flexplate is your call, which ever you like best.

Won't that depend on wether or not your crankshaft is internally balanced? I have a new forged crank and had to use a flexplate.

No. You use a counterweighted fly wheel or flex plate on an external balance engine and a neutral fly wheel or flex plate on an internal balance engine.

Unless you're putting a clutch in or something, it don't matter which you run but if you go with a flex plate, make sure you get an SFI one not a stocker, the stocker will flex while cranking and it will gouge the motor plate and that sucks!..
BTW, the motor revs quicker with a flex plate!..

I second Art's opinion. I've been using a flexplate from CSR and it is much thicker than the sfi flexplate. It is pricey but I know it won't come apart!!
