I dont have any first hand experience, but my buddy is putting that into his very not stock '80 vette because it much easier than rebuilding the existing air cond system. I dont believe that it is very difficult...

Vintage Air conditioning, or the weird vintage air they put in the tires of old rare classics?

My brother did one on his '40 Ford Truck and it was not bad , but being a truck and a '40 model there was lots of room to work with . we did the under dash install .
