Can someone tell me with a stock Ford 460 and the Berkeley Jetovator, what the best operating RPM is and what speed I should expect? Thanks, Greg

With an A impeller, 4500 to 4800 RPM, and aprox 60 mph, depending on boat weight & load.
Add a loader and probably loose a couple hundred RPM, and some speed (due to not really having the HP to process the extra water).

Thanks SmokenLowrider. When I bought the boat, a 1975 19' Miller Bubble Deck, it was advertised to have a A2 impeller. I don't know if it does or not and have no idea how to ID the impeller. But anyway, 60 MPH is ok for this old dog.

The only way to ID the impeller is pull the bowl off and look at the back-side of the casting for the marking.
The only way to be SURE is to make some measurements and compare them to the impeller mfr.'s specs.
An AA on your stock 460 would turn something arround 4400RPM, and, IMO, be WAY TOO BIG for your HP. Likely arround 50-55 MPH.
