If you like how it rides now then leave the bottom alone and do the jet-o-vator thing. Bottom work makes the boat dance instead of plow, A jet-o-vator allows you to play with attitude and still gives the boat alittle trim adjust. That little hook in the back bottom of the boat makes it ride friendly and is why you can chop through chop with a nice ride. If you take the hook out it will want to get up on top and thats what makes speed,but kills the good ride in the crap.FYI and my 1.5 cents
