That's why I am noting going
It was 112 degrees when we pulled in today for qualifying...track temps were upper 140s. I'll be back tommorrow for the Busch race.
Drink lots of water, and pray your seats are in the shade if the sun is still out!!!
Have funn...

thats why we don't do this race any more, I'll wait till February
My buddy has his 40' Weekend Warrior on the infield. He called and said it was blistering today!
I'll watch it in the comfort of my air conditioned living room with the kegorator about 50' away in the garage.
we are headed out there tomorrow around 2pm, race is under the lights so it should cool down a bit. I bet it is going to make me thirsty
good luck to those of you going!
Temp on the dualie in the Fan Zone was 122.... Come by and check out the boats...
was thinking of going to qualifying but decided to pass on it.I had the time but thinking of temps was a no brainer for me.Never been to a nascar event only watch on tv.come feb though trailer and camping plus lots of beer:idea:
Once the sun goes down...life gets a lot better! The cloud cover from the t-storms helped out as well, and they will be here all weekend.
We talked about it today, and you just can't win with So Cal Nascar. The feb race is freezing cold, and the Sep. race is blistering hot. They wonder why we don't have sell out races like all the other venues:idea:.
With all the talk about spreading out races among the rest of the country, I honestly think it's only a matter of time before we only have one race. We already lost the open wheel racing, and we're about to lose one of the Nascar races:sqeyes:
