    Nope no tornados - pelted us with rain fo about 15 minutes an hour ago and is clear now and muggy. During the thunderstorms there were still boats out on the lake - the rain must have been just to refreshing to worry about lighting

    ...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM PDT FOR SOUTH
    CENTRAL KERN COUNTY...
    AT 420 PM PDT...LOCAL TRAINED SPOTTERS REPORTED A TORNADO NEAR THE
    INTERSECTION OF SIERRA HIGHWAY AND ROSAMOND ROAD. THE LATEST REPORT
    INDICATED THAT THE TORNADO IS NEAR AVE A AND BETWEEN 40TH AND 50TH
    STREET ON THE WEST SIDE OF HIGHWAY 14 AND IS MOVING TO THE EAST AT
    AROUND 20 MPH.
    LARGE HAIL AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN ARE ALSO POSSIBLE WITH THIS
    STORM.
    THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A
    WORKBENCH OR OTHER PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. IF NO BASEMENT IS
    AVAILABLE...SEEK SHELTER ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF THE BUILDING IN AN
    INTERIOR HALLWAY OR ROOM SUCH AS A CLOSET. USE BLANKETS OR PILLOWS TO
    COVER YOUR BODY AND ALWAYS STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
    IF IN MOBILE HOMES OR VEHICLES...EVACUATE THEM AND GET INSIDE A
    SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER. IF NO SHELTER IS AVAILABLE...LIE FLAT IN THE
    NEAREST DITCH OR OTHER LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.
    And multiple fire in the San Berdoo National forest too.
    I am in Santa Barbra now, bored outta my gord on the ZACA Fire..........hopefully coming home by the 11th.

    I was out running around in the Mission Viejo / Lake Forest area and at 10am it was 90. My bro-in-law called from Mesa....its only 103 there!

    At 2:30 in Aliso Viejo it was 104.
    Hot for a town only about 5 miles inland from the beach.

    No, wasnt busy at all. Came home early since the water was LOW and couldnt launch.
    Should have came to Parker, not that many people here.
