I have never been to big sandy, although I have heard about it.
I know where LVHB beach is.
Only been in the upper basin couple times.
Where is Big Sandy?
If I remember I think its way past Temple bar then you go left or I believe its north. :idea:
Go past Temple bar and continue up the lake, it will turn left and start to narrow a bit, then you will get up into a another basin once you pass through some rocks on either side, big sandy is a HUUUUGGE sand bar at the top of that basin that sticks out from the right side, you can't miss it. We might end up on the back side of it. Red/Yellow/Purple 30' Hallett, White 35' Cig with a red stripe, Grey/yellow/blue/ 22' Schiada. will be some of the boats in our group.
we'll be at hallett beach sat late/all day sunday. 270 closed bow hallett. white/blue/gray stripe. blue bimini. Have to put some hrs on the new motor my bro had built.
post a Placemark from Google Earth on the sandbar. Then everyone will know where it is. Go to Google Earth and click on the placemark. Move it to Big Sandy on Lake Mead. Place any info you want in the properties. Save it so be uploaded as an attachment in your post. You can attach the Placemark just like a photo and we can download it and see it on Google Earth.
I wonder if there will be any other Halletts there? Maybe only 50 or so...
