I think he drove mostly, but i'm sure he observed his share as well, He was telling me a story the other day about running one of the Marathons up here at mead in the Mandella, Butch Skiing and Rados observing, the day prior Rados took a bad fall and screwed up/dislocated his collar bone, went to the hosipital and they told him he was ok, but he was in alot of pain, The Mandella was a bench seat so Rados had to ride on his knees facing backwards while they took the whole shot and smoked everyone to the turn then settled into a cruising speed and lead the rest of the race. I don't think that would fly nowadays!
