"Pyramid Lake Closed" Sign on I-5 North in Newhall.
This is one of the Cal/Trans Traffic or Emergency signs.
It was displayed for at least 4 hours tonight (Sunday)
Anybody know what might have happened?

I was there untill 2:00 yesterday no obvious problems, not even that croded on the water.
Many times when the lake is full and they are not letting any more boats on they will post it on the freeway billboards. I have seen it posted early on in the day when they anticipate it filling up. But it is a long drive to check and see the real reason why it is closed.
Am guessing the lake was full and they were warning everyone not to come.
Suer would be fun to hack one of those signs and display that warning and then head to the lake for the day.
we pulled off at 5:30 last night....didn't see any problems...it was quit funny, there are alot of idiots out there these days....and most don't speak much english or spanish...wedge
