Hangin' on Morse Reservoir!

This past weekend on Morse Reservoir located in Noblesville, IN. HD' and Burbanite (althoguh you can't see his boat...a pretty cool Sanger Hydro). Just thought everyone might enjoy some pictures here and there.

Yes, that is Morse Reservoir just north of Indianapolis in the town of Noblesville. The lake is pretty cool for a local pond, but it is not too big so there isn't that much room to run. The best part about the lake is that it has a party cove where a bunch of boats tie up together and anchor and everybody hangs out. That is where this picture was taken. Where in IL are you located? I just relocated from Chicago last November.

I am from Peoria Ill. Sounds like it would take me about 4 hours to get there. Do you think its worth the drive or not? Is there a speed limit on the lake? Thanks for the reply.COUGARMAN

If you don't mind the drive, the lake is decent and there is a good party scene. The positives are.......unenforced speed limit as long as you are not an idiot, good party cove, generally a great group of people who are friendly.......including myself and burbanite. Negatives are .........lake isn't huge, it cost $20/day to launch on the weekends (private lake), and there is no camping in the area, but there are hotels.
