it was a spectacular show indeed. Nice pics.
We had a community BBQ on our docs out in the storm, we braved the 90minute storm out in the open. it was rad.

Here are a few more from Sat night just before the big storm hit. A couple of these I took off the dock looking up river. These 3photos I used my sister in-laws camera. It's a Kodak something, but I found out it had shutter speed option that she never even knew it had. Well I figured that out. Somewhat, still think my Olypmus C5050 does a much better job. Well have a new on one order since I dropped it and broke the lens and gears to a million pieces.

the storm on Sat night surprised me. It rained over a inch easy that night and flooded everything at my place. Never lost power though.

well here is the last of them. Took these 2 Sept 2nd Sunday night from my dock. That storm almost reached us that night. Really I missed out on alot of lightning images over that weekend, due to my Olympus camera that broke Thurs night due to me dropping it over a month ago. I found another one on ebay and won the highest bid. So I'll be getting that in a few days. The Kodak camera I used just didn't do the job for me. I liked my Olympus C5050 much better.

Awesome camera work! I love doing night photography in the Desert.
I dropped my Cannon Digital SLR, on a sportfishing trip in August '06, never has been the same since
Back in March went out & bought me a point 'n shoot, Olympus Stylus 770SW.

Yeah buying a new digital camera is no picnic. Especially the high end ones. How you like that new Olympus?
