Chattanooga, TN Electric Power Board. Dagum thing is I live at 1,700 feet so our temp never got above 96 or 98. I do have 5,000 sf to cool though. 900 of that is basement where I keep the stat at 72. That unit rarely runs.

Every month my bill would be about $24.00. That's because the AC unit was broken so why run it. I think the highest bill last year was $32.00.
I fixed the AC over the winter. Thank goodness. Last couple bills were about $160.00 thoughGot to keep the AC running now that we have a baby in the house. Otherwise, I'd have a $24 bill still.
Keep the thermo around 78 or so. 3,000 square feet, one story.

That seems really high for TN.... mine was $212 running 10 tons (garage incl) at 74 constantly.....
