And the actual winner was:
A 1987 Liberator with a 2.0 Merc driven by a name Ya'll might remember.
Havasu Barney.
Congratulations to Barney, Go Cart Joe and Brian for winning it all with a 20 year old lake boat, a little outboard, and a solid strategy!

That would have been Gary in #17.
4.6 mile laps and 58 laps is not a 300 mile enduro. it should have been called the parker 270
Every boat should have the chance to finish 60 laps, and the individual who finishes 60 laps the fastest should be the overall winner. You should not get the overall just because you started 45-55 minutes before and were able to finish before the faster boats caught up.
not a completely accurate example, but that is like taking a honda civic against a funny car, giving the honda a 15 second head start in the 1/4mile, and saying the honda is faster than the funny car. The reason to have different divisions is so the not as fast guys still have a chance to win their division.
Overall victory should mean overall fastest, not the first to cross the line.
73, 555, and 48 all ran a great race, im not taking anything away from that, but something needs to be done to the race format.
I feel bad for 73 and i think it sucks that they got DQ'd because of an inspector who misplaced them. like i said all the boats deserve credit, and no one wants to see stuff like that happen.
I guess there is always next year.
You can't make all the people happy all the time.

It would have not been Gary #17 because he would have not finished the 60 laps! This is bracket racing so the person that finishes 60 laps should be the winner!
