    I have been having problems with my low water pickup plugging up and over heating her.Now they suggest this transom water pickup,do any of you guy's run these?.........( . )( . )........

    Friend of mines twin 21 skater has them !!
    Gained speed off of that change by jacking mota's even further

    IT seams to me transom mount pick up is a good idea ,you should be able to raise moter up even higher =more mph let me know if it helps .

    Kim........while I don't have any hands on experience with this set-up, it has crossed my mind before..........and I think it would work well. As Kaptain Kirk said, Skaters...(and other off shore rigs) run them. Just make sure to radar or GPS your rig for optimal engine height. At some point, the blades on your prop run out of water making it detrimental to run the motor any higher.

    my Cougar has transom mounted pick ups.They work great.I can jack my motors all the way up and let her fly.
