We had a fall poker rally on the weekend and ran a few nice rivers on a day which showed a bit of everything weather wise. Figured you guys may get a kick out of some of the more extreme shots I got. The Brazeau river has a TON of what we like to call "can openers"

As usual with boating everyone is friendly as can be, riverboaters especially stick together and always lend a hand to those who need it.

It was a funny day which kept some people away from this run which in the past has seen over 40 boats.
Friday nite was quite cool and we got some rain. Saturday morning seemed much better for the run altho it was a bit cool, the sun was out. Mid afternoon saw some clouds roll in and it rained during the afternoon stop. We were all safely tucked under some very waterproof pine tree's at the time and it stopped by the time we started heading back.
Windsheilds don't always look the best but add in that many of these boats have heaters and it really makes a so so day more than just tolerable it makes it completely possible to have a very enjoyable day on the river in less than ideal conditions. It also greatly extends the boating season here as our summers can seem short.
There are such a variety of jetboats around up here its amazing. Just looking at the styling tells you just how long alloy boats have been around
