Anyone?
I am in the market for a new digital camera. Anyone have any recommendations. I don't need anything too crazy, want to stay under $350.
Also, I would like to find one that has a short "time between photos". Any suggestions....
Anyone?
I have an Olympus Stylus 770Sw paid over $450 back in March of this year (ext warrenty, 2gig SD card, and camera itself), at Best Buy.
Its bad ass to say the least... part of the reason why I bought it was because its waterproof to 33', shockproof from up to 5', crush proof, and has 7.1 megapixels. Perfect for the Lake/River/Boat/Desert.
Im sure the price has come down by now.
Check out Ritz Camera.......they're pretty knowledgable and competitive price wise.
Kodak has a new 12 MP HD model [ Z1275 ] that can record up to 80 minute video with 2 Gig card . Has digital image stabilization too , around $ 215 us , at Best Buy .

The Olympus water-proof camera is going to be my next digital camera.
We bought a Pentax "Optio w10" that is waterproof to three meters. 6.0 MP. Under $200.00
I just when through this and Cannon is hard to beat. I wanted an ultra compact Point and shoot for vacations and ease of use. I went with the Cannon SD 1000 7.1 MP. It's small, really small, and takes awesome photos. price dropped for $218.99 at CC on-line. Man I am glad I waited, I paid 400+ for my 4MP Olympus back in 2003. I would get out and take a look at them in-person.
Here is are some links for you to read the reviews.
