2 Injured When Boat Explodes In Long Beach Harbor
(CBS) LONG BEACH, Calif. Two people were injured Monday when a boat exploded in the waters of Long Beach Harbor, authorities said.
The blast occurred shortly after 11 a.m. near Pier C, Berth 55, Long Beach Fire Department Capt. Mike DuRee said.
The victims were taken to a hospital in stable condition, DuRee said.
The cause of the explosion was under investigation.
