The forklift is a 1946 Clark to the best of my knowledge. It has a Continental flathead 4 cylinder in it. It's hard tire, beat up, and smokes like crazy, but it does it's job. It was originally a 6 volt, but has been converted to 12 v and I re-wired it 2 years ago. Tilt rams bleed off badly so they are tied off by chain, but I put a new packing in the lift ram.
The point is that is goes forward and backward, and goes up & down. Great for moving boats around, lifting engines, etc...
