what year and length boat are you talking about? I had a 1973 18ft ski jet that I ran NJBA with just to play in bracket land and made alot of changes to go 70 MPH with a very mild 454 chev and bone stock j-pump.

thanks guys all these will help me with the rebuild.BTW does anyone know if a setback pump would help one of these or do they run fine with the pump in the stock location? what is the highest speed some one has seen in one of these hulls?
