    I'm thinking about running my F-26 over to Catalina to watch the boats come in like we did in my 30' Spectre a couple of years a go. Some of the boats are on it when they get in behind the island. It's a fun run with some great hardware to see run, some of the baddest boats on the west coast.

    Salt should have nothing to do with resale value, I ran my 30' Spectre out there all the time. You couldn't tell it still looked new.
    But I think I know what your saying. People will think "oh my god it went in the salt water, it must have holes eatin in the bottom and the drive must be disolved like sugar in coffee" .

    After many years of running 38's in the SCOPE poker run we are planning on taking our 28 Daytona this year.(as long as it's flat out...)
    Salt water only harms those who don't clean properly after use ! I'll spend half the next day cleaning/flushing my boat - but it's worth the effort to ;
    1.) have a great time
    2.) preserve the boat/engine
