you should be able to rent the tool
forget what its called its the one with two pins on the side right
My '04 Bravo XR input seal has been leaking. So I Pulled the Drive and am in need of a shop with the correct tools to replace the seals. Anyone know of a shop around Gilbert/Phoenix Arizona that has experience with these XR drives. The input shaft retainer is different from the regular Bravos. I ordered the Special Tool but would like to get it done sooner. Any input is appreciated. THANKS!

The XR drive requires many shimming procedures that the Bravo I didn't. The pinion gear must be removed from the yoke to replace the u-joint seal. I would take it to a qualified shop that has all the XR tools and experience doing it.
