Any jet with any size motor can run divison 1. 15 min head start on divison 2. For 15 min you can haul ass & get a nice lead on the competition. Then cruise the rest of the race & make them come to you. Would be really cool to see a jet win this race.
Divison 2 is any jet with a turbo or blower. Not that this will make a difference but you would have a chance to race with under 500 inch gn boats with no blowers or turbos...
My opinion is Div 1 would be a very competitve place to be!
This is a really great race for those who have not attended or competed! Something to consider for sure...

Maximus, several jet racers got screwed by Jon Castilli (sp) last year and, I have tried, but can not get anyone to commit this year. Four jets were in the top ten at the awards, and then the results were changed in favor of the boats that didn't have offical scores. Hard to sell people after something like that. My wife and I went to Riggins Idaho to the white water races in April, and tried to get some racers interested in the enduro with no results.
