Is that what you are looking for? I don't know what anyone else will have to say about this unit, but I'm sure there are some that have used it or something a little better.

Target has the Garmin etrex that GAW posted for $79.99 and it's a great little unit. I've had 2 of them, thought one of them got stolen when my truck was broke into so bought another. They work great and are small enough to put just about anywhere.

I agree with Cas, the E-Trex is a nice unit. It has a max speed recall too. Many other inexpensive ones don't have this feature.

I've got the etrex and I zip tie it to the steering wheel. When I was at the races in bakersfield it was within 0.3 mph of the clocks on the course. I think that is good enough for me.

I Like the color. I guess I'll check at Target and see if I can get one that will make my boat do 129 MPH.

Yes! I bought 2 of them one for the boat and one for the bike, I have even dropped mine in the water a few times
