If you look at the "symbols" and look at the numbers that can be divided equally by 9, like 18, 27, 36 etc. they are all the same symbol.
what ever two numbers you choose 14, 85, 43 etc added together and subtracted will always equal a number divisible by 9.
1+4=5 14-5="9"
8+5=13 85-13="72"
4+3=7 43-7="36"
therefore the "gopher" will always know what symbol because they are all the same.
