    The answer to a simple question that comes up often is, if the first two numbers on the V-Drive case are 62 then its a 12 degree V-Drive, if the first two numbers on the case are 61 then its a 10 degree V-Drive.

    So if the first two numbers on your V-drive case are 61 then you want to be sure the gears you have are stamped 10 degrees like the ones in the photo.

    The Ace drives have the glass to check the oil level on the front .The Ace is also flippable to go over/under drive .
