My boats transom is getting covered in a black soot from the exaust and i have used some cleaners but they suck. any body have a suggestion on what is good for this and good for water spots that have been on the glass for a while??
    thanks
The best remover I found is Lime Away. I use it to clean the eahaust pipes. It strips the wax, but totaly strips the soot. Just reaply some wax and you are all good. Takes a total of 5 extra minutes and it is clean clean clean!

Lime Away will work too, just make sure you wax after. Anything thats going to remove waterspots or soot is going to remove wax.
