would a knife kept in my driver's door pocket be considered a consealed weapon? I use it for work from time to time and it's kept in it's sheath. I usually keep it in the lockable toolbox mounted in my truck bed, but I just threw it into the door pocket because I was in a hurry... The blade length is only about 4" long...

I've been told a mini Dodger bat in the trunk of your car can be considered a concealed weapon. (Anyone know???)

Are you saying that even a flashlight can be a consealed weapon?
You have the knife there to cut away your seatbelt in case of emergency. Right?

It can certainly be used as a weapon if needed but wouldn't be construed as a concealed weapon from the LEO's point of view.

Roz,
In California I think even a silent fart is consider a concealed weapon
Sometimes I think it depends on whether the cop feels like writing it up or not and of course the situation if pulled over. Something happen?
