Non split bowl= one piece all the way from the transom adapter to the nozzle/diverter
split bowl= has a flange with bolts on the outside before the nozzle/diverter
i've one guy that may do a part trade thing for my wagon(with a suposed split bowl berk). then ,i just saw an old witchcraft on my way home (i think a withcraft) with a berk and a manual diverter control ect. for 1000.00. i wanna make a deal, but i wouldn't know a split bowl berk if it bit me in the ass.

and that last flange is about 3" wide' and is kind of flared out. if so that sounds like the one on this boat. any last words of wisdom from anyone b-4 i go pick this up, i doubt they will let me dissasemble it to check it out 1st. haha

thanks ol squirt it's a split.
ummmm, how do you unbolt a jet. on my panther the biggest issue was the friken silicone,is that pretty much i should expect with the berk? i just bought the split bowl with the diverter for $500.00 thats a no brainer right?
Take a can of gum and tar remover from Pep boys with you. Spray and let it set for 5 minutes then peel the sillycone off. You;ll have to remove the transom cover before you can get to the bowl bolts.
Once you get access to those remove and slide the bowl right off.

I went to the "Jet Boat" section of the image center,, went to the last page and just started working my way forward. That's the first split bowl pic I found. Is it yours?
