'65 Hallett Ski Hydro

I am in the process of a complete restoration of a '65 Hallett Ski Hydro. Does anyone have any information on this boat (how many were made, know of anyone else who might have one, etc.)

Post some pictures when you get a chance, that will help jog people's memory.
Hallett Boats was started by Rich Hallett in the Los Angeles area during the early 50's. To the best of my recollection, he had allergic reactions to working with fiberglass and resins. He sold the company & the name to boat builder Nick Barron - Barron Boats Works, in the early 60's! Nick Barron still owns Hallett Boats today!
As for how many were made, you might try calling Hallett (http://www.hallettboats.com) and asking them.

There is a guy that runs at Camp Far West with one of these, yellow with a wood deck. I asked him if it was an old Stevens and I'm pretty sure he told me it is a Hallet.

Wow what a great job on a rare classic Hallett. I love that boat! I have had 5 Halletts ski race boats and still have 3.There are well made boats. That is a real beauty.
