About 10 years ago we did a ski trip out there.
There was a package through or supported by the Canandian goverment. They wanted to get the US dollars.
It was through SkiCan or something similar. Dont know if it still exists but you can look for it.
Included, flight, room, lift ticket and we opted for a rental car. It was really cheap.....

Our federal government has a department of skiing in Whistler. They don't get along well with our department of dog sledding but that's not relevant to this discussion.

You'll love it there! Lived in Brackendale ( 45 minutes south on hwy99) for quite a while and learned to ski at @Whistler. It's a great time!
