I'm going with the 16' Tahiti. It seems like everywhere you turn you see a splash that is either the same length or it was stretched into something longer.

Oh, hands down the 16 Tahiti. I started a list a few years ago and was up to around 65 builders, some I'd never even heard of, that copied that boat.
18 Southwind a solid second, and a much better design than the ol Tahiti. Everyone did build that 18 in the 70's, but most of those same people offered the Tahiti in the decade before.
    20 Spectra 3rd, no brainer.
The three most copied boats ever.

[QUOTE= [/QUOTE]Did you Know the Tahiti Was splashed from Rogers Wieman's Father (Rogers Custom Boats), had a friend out of work (Laid Off), so he told Him to take and build a mold off one of his, Hell he said he could not make what the demand was anyway. ALAA Tahiti. Those old racks @ Rogers Yard were what they stood them on transom ends untill it was installation time. Roger said there would be 25-30 at a time stacked there.
In the good old metal flake days. If you remember they had a sales lot @ Lakewood & Artesia Blvd as I remember.
