In my opinion, When your talking about lake boats that have at least two seats, have the ability to pull a skier, and can carry enough fuel to run for at least 20 miles, Then anything over 80 mph is fast.

There are jet boats that can carry enough fuel to go 20 miles?!! WTF I have never had one of those.

I think its aways changing, 80 in my jet used to seem really fast, now I guess I'm just getting used to it and want more. I guess its ok for having all the crap I have in it and using it for fishing and skiing.
I only get about 65 now without the N2O, which makes it seem slow when compared to running on the bottle, thats why I'm building a new motor to try and get over 80 before N2O.
But then I'll probably hit the bottle and run 90 and then be bored with 80 when I'm not using the N2O.
    can't win,
