Anyone know what it cost to get a wood deck redone? I know it depends on a lot of factors but what is a new unfinished wood deck worth?

Here is a good thread for you to look at Link Miller Boat. (http://www.***boat.com/forums/showth...6&page=1&pp=25) Skip the first part of the thread and dig into where the pictures are. It will give you a good idea of how much work it is redoing a wood deck.

If all the wood work is done on that Stevens, you're sittin' good. If it needs a
little work, the guy to see is Harlan Orrin. He's down in Fallbrook Ca. He's also the guy that did the Steven's wood decks when they were new. If you go to see him, ask to see his photo albums. He's got an amazing collection of pictures that you'll love to see. Among them are some great 8X10 shots of Stevens old shop with some boats in the foreground.
He's also the nephew of Leo or Lou (I can never remember which is his first name) Mandella, so he's got a ton of great stories of building boats to tell.
If you just need the glass work doen of the deck, you won't get any better than using Kenny at BK boat repair over in Bellflower. He's simply the best around. When Nick Barron (Hallett boats) re-did a wood deck boat for himself a few years ago, Kenny did the glass work for him, after Harlan did the wood work. It's a cool shop to go see too, always lots of old v-drives in the lot. Harlan....760 723 0767

Check this web site. www.millercustomboats.com. Seems like you should take it to one shop and get it all done. No sence in driving all over California just to get your hull refinished.

Well I opted out, it's probably a good deal for someone but I started adding it up and it was getting too rich for me. I guess I'll just have to wait (someday) until I find a good deal on one thats already done.
