Single stocks? Maybe if you're a day trader. The smart money is all in mutual funds for long term growth. The best way to get rich quick is to get rich slow...
Low risk compared to return. If you examine each of these picks I have suggested you will find very favorable indicators. Actually I have a software program that provides evaluations I trust. Some of the picks included I picked up here on hot boat. I only consider stocks that meet my criteria after due process.
Let me know if you find anything wrong with the picks.
Someone mentioned mutual funds as the investment of choice. No arguement here.

What's the typical amount of money a person should start out investing in the market? I have been thinking about getting into the stock market, right now I have a lot of money going into an IRA and 401K but I'd like to start playing the market. I'm thinking about starting out with 10% of my bring home income being dumped into the market.
Any advice you guys can give me? Other then research, research, research?

Stocks selected up 2.95% today.
I am building a model to achieve a paticular goal.
I am not a day trader by any means.
My group of selected stocks are predicted to out perform the market for the next 90 days.
When I am completely selected I will have 12 to 15 stocks being monitored
kind of a mini mutual fund.
I am only sharing because my picks are doing good and I am looking for more diversity.
Hopefully others have similar goals.
