I am refinishing a shelf that my grandfather made for me when I was young. I am going from a thick paint to a light stain finish. I also want to do some wood burning on it, make it look a little more rustic. What is the best way to do this?
Also I am going to do some barn wood work with some material from my grandfathers barn. Any kind of advice on this as well?
    Any help/advice is appreciated.
