Castaic Race Around the Lake

I have been hearing different stories. I was reading on Thumper Talk and people were saying it is because of the fire risk from the pipes on the bikes sparking. And others are saying it's just because Shane Trittle didn't plan haha I don't know.
I went to the drag races the last year they had them. It was so much fun but I was little so I didn't appreciate the boats like I do now . Hopefully they will happen again.

I think they have one every sunday around 3
3 to 3:30pm, then put it on the trailer

I don't think the noise had much to do with it. we could hear them but it wasn't all that loud. It was actually pretty cool hearing the rap of a nice motor at 7 in the morning. I think it was more the wind. If i remember correctly some drivers refused to run their boats because of the wind the last time.
And i also don't think they had the crowds they wanted.

Yep ....they raced the Lagoon, wind was the issue on some days....real Issue was LA COUNTY Liability insurance....they don't hold any races in LA COUNTY at all, thats also why they don't race at Puddingstone anymore....LA worried about lawsuits....wedge
