I have owned a new 99 Eagle Pacific but it was not the 28. The Eagle Pacific is laid up by Aftershock but they use a stronger lamination schedule (ie. wet bedded stringers). Eagle Pacific Boats are built by Mark Tyler at Performance Offshore Marine in Corona. They build about 10-12 boats a year and don't do any major advertising. They build the same 21, 24 and 28 as the Aftershock. I had mine for four years and didn't have a lick of trouble. I sold it to my next door neighbor who used it every weekend for two more years (also trouble free) but needed to upgrade to a bigger boat. I now have an 03 Caliber 1 that was rigged and sold to me new by Mark at Performance Offshore Marine. Also a trouble free tight boat. There is a guy who used to be very active on the boards (racecar hotshoe) who has (or had) a 28. Shoot him a PM. I would definitley buy another one.
