    Hey
I've got a buddy that is looking for a boat to run the Parker 300 next year. He is looking for some guidence as far as what kind of boat, and is leaning towards a big GN style V drive. Anybody have any info for him?
    Thanks

I would find a GN style boat to run out of Div. II. A GN boat won it two years ago out of this division. I built a boat to run this past years race in div II and feel that we would have a strong chance to win. Unfortunatly we lost a motor on friday testing. Remember you dont have to have the fasted boat out there or the most money, you still have to get to the finish line. Yes the whackers dont have the attrition rate that v-drives do, but the race promoters are trying to make this race fair to everybody to come and race!

or a B boat with a small block. That would be a div 1 boat right?
