Christmas List?

I know it's early but my wife told me to start getting ideas for me and the family.
Info on the following items would be great and feel free to add to the list.
1. GPS for use in a Ranger/Rhino. My dad spends a lot of time in Havasu and Show Low. He wants a system (EASY SYSTEM) that will help him navigate the western states. Any good, reasonably easy systems that are not too pricey?
2. Solar battery charger to leave hooked up between river trips. The boat in in Havasu in the summer and home in the winter - want to be able to set it up at either.
