My boat has the original jet(12jc - 1976) The water that comes out of this thing is very wide - not like some of the jets I see on the river. Is a smaller nozzle better or is the one I have the way to go?

some times the o ring that goes around the nozzel goes bad and causes it to do that! i would look in to that before i went and got a smaller nozel! good luck and yes they do make smaller nozels! wink

Alot of people use a nozzle reducer" bushing" I run one in my boat, it seems to help a little, and if you run a jetavator or some thing like it you will get a tighter roost.
