I have a brand New Dyers 8-71. I am putting the nose assembly on with the gasket. What are the torque specs of I think the 10 count 5/16 bolts. I have the instructions but I cannot find that spec. Also, do you people put the gasket on dry or lighlty smear some RTV on there. Here are a couple shots of what I am talking about. The Bug is already set up for EFI (center used as Throttle body) from BDS with a TP sensor already. I am going to machine the EFI injector plate soon. I have the 14mm injector pocket tool and fuel rail O-ring boss tool already.

Well it is just the BDS bug set up for EFI. I did not buy the whole system from BDS $$$$. I will be machining my adapter plate and already have the fuel rail material from Ross Machine. How tight are the bolts when assembling the drive gear snout set up to the blower.
    Thanks.

I think it was 20 lbs. I would like to know how the EFI works when you get it running.

If you are asking about the BDS price they have it on their site. I got the bug set up for EFI from BDS for 850.00. They modify so one butterfly acts as a throttle body and add all the TPS stuff too. I have the plate material to machine the plate the way I want to. I will post pics when I am in process.
    Thanks.

Just my .02........... RTV is for fixing things around the house when you don't know how to fix any thing!! Dry is the norm, but if you must... use a thin film of white grease and with this methed you can clean them and reuse them a few times, I do this with my hat and valve covers....... You know, things that come off now and then...
