The weekend is fine. I don't think you want to leave it in your system for a month though, by then you need to drain and flush the system.
I know of a couple tractor pullers leave the alky in all winter long then just get the tractor out in the spring and fire it up. They say as long as the line are full and there is no air in them then its good.
