I've got a set of these (8). Speedpro .030 over forged pistons with a -22cc dish. These came out of a running motor and are in good shape. Although they'll work, I probably wouldn't recommend using them with the larger chamber heads 97cc as your compression ratio would end up being approx 8:1 and a little on the low side (the buddy I got the short block from had this combo 97cc D3 heads). The motor ran fine, but I think it would've been much spunkier with a little higher compression ratio.
They would work great with a 72-77cc head though. Compression ends up being around 9.5:1 Makes for a nice safe pump gas combo. I've got a set of these same pistons in the motor I'm running now.
The pistons are still on the connecting rods and I'd let them go as well.
$150 bucks for the whole works. My plan is to build this motor as a stroker so I'll be getting different pistons and connecting rods with the kit.
If you're at all interested I can put up some pictures of the actual parts.
Here's a link to the advertisement from Jegs.

Wow thats a good price yes please post pics
I will be running D3's A2A which i think are 91.4 cc's:idea:

Sorry I screwed up in the above post I put down D1VE
which are block numbers not heads. I meant D3 A2A cylinder
heads. I think you'll find that they're actually 97 cc chambers
on those heads.
If you look at the advertisement it shows the compression with
97 cc heads and that would be the ones that you're going to run.
Like I said, they'll work fine and the motor that they came out of
had D3 heads. Compression will be around 8:1 like I stated earlier.
I didn't even clean em up. I just pushed em out of the holes and
boxed em up.
Here's some photos.

Those are the ones I need, but I only need one. Steve that is the same as what was in my engine but I had 70cc chambers.

get these and get your ass to parker:devil:
Will these work with a 4.140 crank and 6.800 rods? are the pins pressed cause i need to float the pins with the new rods

They are press in pins. You'd end up with about 500 cu in. Not sure what your question
is regarding the crank and rods though. Will it fit? Yeah. Guess it doesn't really matter
since you don't want the press in pins anyway.

Just think Jim......you'd have 7 spares pistons and 8 spare rods. Don't think you'll find
a better price.
