1" or 1 1/8" prop shaft?

I was told to switch to a 1 1/8" propshaft. After doing so, I was informed that I would loose 7 mph. also.

Just buy a quality 1 inch prop shaft. Call V drive Tom and order one.
In general...Blown alcohol and up use a 1 1/8 prop shaft. You don't need 1 1/8.
