Use a moroso or kn ,frams micron trapment is too small and the centers suck in and block the oil flow then you know what happens.
What do you run? I run a Fram HP in my 468BBC. Does anyone else run one of these? Are they much better than the standard PH Fram filters. I have heard Fram filters are junk they just seem to be the easiest to get ahold of. What do you guys run? Ideas...Thanks

I personally like the k&n as they take a socket in the end... very easy to get off and on.
K&N, Moroso, or Baldwin.
Wix, Car Quest racing filters(made by Wix). I'm thinking of switching to a Orberg.

The Fram HP is fine.....Even the stockers (PH series) have worked quite well for me over the years......Lots of destruction of parts, but nothing caused by bearing failures..........Then again, I don't run a gazillion pounds of oil pressure, 60 cold idle, 30-40 hot idle.....50-60 WOT hot.............MP
Do a search on oil filters. There's been many threads on this subject.

Oberg for a remote or system 1 makes one that replaces a regular filter in either short or normal length, then you can always see what is going on inside you motor when you clean it.
