I have one that needs to be gone through. It came off of a summers brothers gear drive setup with the front drive distributor AND fuel pump off the front.

Depends on how the boat will be driven. If you do alot of idle time and slow putting not great. If the motor is going to an injector(which it sounds like) mostly cruise or wot no problem. Just check the flats at the drags or the guys here that race flats. Most go pressure fed and save the hp it takes to turn the pump. plumbing might need to be looked at especialy the pick-up.M

pressure fed in a race boat is the way to go IMO. Pleasure boat,water pump.
